Math News
We are continuing our work in Up and Down the Number Line. This week we will continue learning how to make a net change while taking more than one “elevator trip”. When we take our trips this week we won’t be given all of the information. For some trips we won’t be given all of the changes, and for some trips we won’t be told which floor the trip starts.
Science News
This week in science we will learn about energy. We will discuss heat energy, light energy and the differences between matter and energy.
Social Studies
This week in social studies we will learn about Mesopotamia and Sumer. We will discuss how because of irrigation villages and cities were possible, the move from drawn pictures to the use of symbols for communication, and the invention of the wheel.
