A big THANK YOU to everyone for sending in snacks during FCAT week.
Our schools annual Play Day will be on March 27th. I need for everyone to bring in their clean yellow field trip shirt, so that everyone’s name can be ironed on to the back. If you are in need of new shirt, shirts can be purchased at most craft stores (AC Moore, Michaels, and Joann Fabrics etc.) for not very much. All shirts need to be brought in no later than Monday March 24th.

Math News
On Tuesday we will be starting a new book titled Up and Down the Number Line. In this book we will learn about the “changes” that occur when we add and subtract. These changes result in a net change that can be either positive or negative. To help students visualize these changes we will be using the number line.
Science News
This week in science we will finish up our work on matter. We will review and take the test for chapter 10 on next Tuesday (3/25). We will then begin work on chapter 13 energy.
Social Studies
We have completed our work on chapter 2 Our Land and Resources. We will take the test on this Wednesday (3/19). After that we will begin learning about Ancient Civilizations.
