We will take our test on Module 1 on this Wednesday. Students began working on their study guide today in class and should finish it tonight (Monday) for homework.
After we complete Module 1 we will begin our work in Module 2. In Module 2 we will begin our work on measurement. Students will learn about the metric and customary systems. We will learn about the Metric System first. Students will learn about units for length (kilometer, meter, centimeter, and millimeter), mass (kilogram and gram), and capacity (liter and milliliter). Students will learn how to convert larger units to smaller units. Students will learn that the Metric System is a decimal based system that moves in units of 10 times greater than the unit to the right.

This week in science we will discuss different types of models. We will wrap up this unit with our test on Friday. Next week we will move into Unit 5, Matter.
Students have learned how to use a search engine to research their topic. Last week we began learning how to save web addresses in Word document. This word document will eventually turn into a source page for the final project.
