Happy Monday Everyone,
Since this Monday is Memorial Day, today is the last Monday of the 2020-2021 school year. There is no school on Monday May 31. Students will return on Tuesday to close out the school year.
Congratulations to our students in Group 3. They are now officially done with FSA testing. Thank you everyone that help us get the students ready for their first year of FSA testing. All of your support from making students stick to bed times at the end of the school year, eating filling breakfasts on testing days and sending in treats for students to enjoy after each session ensures that students have a stress free testing experience.

As part of their homework this week, students will be holding Student-Parent Conferences with you. Students have the entire week to get this done.. On Monday they will be bringing home a folder that contains their data for math, science, and ELA. There will also be forms for you to fill out.
Parents, this means that you have homework. You can either complete your homework digitally or hard copy. If you choose to complete your homework digitally just click each link below and fill out the forms and submit them. If you choose to complete this homework using paper and pencil, simply fill out the enclosed forms and return them to your child's teacher. Homework is due on Friday 5/28.
The student work and data forms are yours to keep. Please email us if you have any additional questions about your child's progress in fourth grade.

Thank you to everyone that participated in this years Virtual Career Day. It means a lot that our parents step up to help us keep many of the programs that we do annually even though we are having to do them virtually.
This week in math students will work on completing our Design A Zoo Challenge. Students are using their knowledge of area and perimeter to design habitats for animals in their zoos. We have been looking at what goes what goes in to the work of designing real zoo exhibits.
As part of our work with designing zoos, we are bringing that work into our science. Students will research the different animals in our zoo project to find out the natural ecosystems and climates of the places the different animals live in when found in the wild.
