Happy Tuesday Everyone,

     There are two good things about a three day weekend. An extra day off and a short work week. I hope everyone enjoyed the extra day off and is ready for a short work week. 

     I would like to thank everyone that was able to join us for our Virtual Open House last Thursday. Please review the power point that Mrs. Lomblo emailed out and let us know if you have any questions.

School-To-Home Folder

*Unit 1 Lessons 1 and 2 Science Quiz

*Module 1 Mid-Module Math Quiz

     Students are bringing home their school to home folder today. We will use this folder specifically for students to bring home work that has been graded and entered into FOCUS. The papers are yours to keep. The folder should be kept in the students Trapper. Please check the folder at the beginning of the week. 

     This week in math, we will complete our work with Module 1. Students will take End of Module Test on Friday. The test will cover place value, rounding, comparing numbers, addition and subtraction. We will spend time this week reviewing in class to help students to prepare. Students will bring home a study guide on Thursday. 

   This week in science we will begin working on our physical science unit. We will begin with matter. This week we will focus on the states of matter and how we use physical properties to identify matter. In fourth grade students will begin to focus on how the molecules behave in each of the different states of matter. Physical properties of matter include mass, shape, volume, color, hardness, texture, odor, taste, and attraction to magnets. b

Monday: No School-Labor Day

Tuesday: Science: Unit 1 Lessons 3, 4, 5 Quiz (Due on Friday)

           Math: Lesson 18 Problem Set

Wednesday: Science: Unit 5 Lesson 1 Digital Lesson

               Math: Lesson 18 Homework Sheet

Thursday: Science: Complete pages 242 and 243 in science book

             Math: Study for Module 1 test
