Scientific Observations of Lima Bean Plants

The students have been learning how to write a scientific observation. In science it is very important for a scientist to take careful notes when they are observing projects that they are working on. Scientist make careful notes telling everything that they see. Sometimes we need the aid of scientific tools such as hand lens or microscopes. They are as specific as possible so that when they look back they can tell exactly what they saw. They also take careful notes so that they can share their findings with other scientist.
Since most of the world uses the metric system when we measure in science we also will use the metric system. In this way when we communicate with scientist in other parts of the world they will understand our measurements even if we do not speak the same language.
